Morningstar, Inc. is a leading provider of independent investment research. When Morningstar decided to move to their new facility, McCann Systems was hired as the AV consultant. Once the design concept was complete we were commissioned to build the audio visual systems at Morningstar’s new facility located in the center of Chicago at Daley Plaza.

The Madison Square Garden Presentation Center is being used to showcase the newly renovated suites available at the Garden. Here, prospective clients get a firsthand look at the accommodations available to them. The Presentation Center experience begins when you enter the lobby of this dynamic space. McCann Systems integrated the immersive audio visual environment, working with TPG Architecture and Hornall Anderson, the content providers.

How do you sell corporate suites at the proposed Barclays Center, when the arena hasn’t been built yet? The Nets solved that problem by asking McCann Systems to integrate an audio visual environment that brings the arena and skyboxes to life in the Barclays Sales Center. This allows potential buyers to easily visualize how events will look from any suite location.

At almost 100 years old, Maimonides Medical Center remains a vital and thriving non-profit, non-sectarian hospital. It is the pre-eminent treatment facility and academic medical center in the Borough of Brooklyn.
As a “teaching” hospital, instruction takes place throughout the Medical Center. At the center of the medical center is the Schreiber Auditorium, a 350 seat facility equipped with an assortment of instructional multimedia resources.

This gorgeous new hotel is located on the Hudson River in Jersey City, New Jersey. This dynamic hotel nestled in the Financial District offers a wide range of dining, shopping and meeting options.

When Dylan’s Candy Bar, a sweets emporium on Manhattan’s East Side, decided to renovate and expand, they asked McCann Systems to integrate the audio visual elements for their confectionery tourist attraction … which is the largest candy store of its kind in the world.

Chopard, one of the world’s most prestigious designers and manufacturers of luxury timepieces, jewelry and accessories, asked the McCann organization to put audio visual creativity to work in their Manhattan flagship store at Madison Avenue and 63rd Street.The company needed a window display concept that would act as a fitting showcase and high tech exhibit for their quality products.

Elizabeth Arden’s only street level location at 5th Avenue and 54th Street in New York City, showcases the firm’s beauty brands and designer/celebrity fragrances, while an upper floor houses their Red Door Salon and Spa. McCann Systems was called on to deliver fresh audio visual integration concepts to the uniquely shaped street level site.

Originally hired as AV consultants for the build-out of the corporate offices on the 11th through 15th floor, McCann Systems was ultimately selected as a consultant for the store. As consultants, we worked on the design concept with the architects and planners and subsequently were commissioned to do the AV integration of this street level retail store.

Elie Tahari’s dream of transforming his fashion label into a lifestyle brand gained impetus with the opening of a 5,000 sq. ft. flagship store in a landmark building in East Hampton, New York. McCann Systems created the audio visual elements, including a cutting-edge sound system.

Nintendo wanted to create a memorable destination for video game enthusiasts. Through original design and smart installation, McCann Systems delivers a gamer’s paradise, brimming with unique audiovisual experiences unprecedented in any other retail environment.

Kenneth Cole is an upscale brand of sophisticated women’s and men’s clothing fashions, footwear, handbags, luggage and other accessories. The look is casual, urban, sophisticated. Cole’s fashions and accessories are carried by high-end department stores and in Kenneth Cole’s own stores throughout the world. McCann Systems
has provided the AV concepts for a number of his successful locations.

It begins with six, working conference rooms equipped with Smartboards, including one 71″ rear projection model. Each room handles audio and videoconferencing, and is complete with table microphones, front speaker and built-in tabletop connectivity for laptops, auxiliary video inputs and network connections.

In the wake of 9/11, McCann Systems helped create and equip the FDOC with the most advanced AV technology available to first responders. Today, the FDOC has an unprecedented range of capabilities to monitor communications and direct NYC’s fire and EMS activities 24/7.

A 6’ x 13’ video wall is the backbone of this New York based network operations command center. The 2 x 4 configuration of 50” Synelec LM 1000-50 cubes allows 8 discrete feeds to be displayed simultaneously across the wall, as well as using all 8 cubes as one large pixel space in critical presentations.

Command Centers and Network Operations Centers are one of the most demanding and critical areas of a corporation. They are the hub of a corporation’s network monitoring and distribution of information. They provide centralized command for a specific purpose. Command Centers are often thought of as the central nervous system of any corporate infrastructure, managing mission critical data that is vital to the company. These command centers must provide data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This type of operation requires reliable, durable, and easily serviceable audiovisual equipment.

FOX News wanted an eye-catching and compelling audio visual element for their FOX News set, located on the 12th floor of FOX News Corporation in midtown Manhattan and home to the FOX Report with Shepard Smith and the 5PM Hour hosted by Glenn Beck.

A new face for NASDAQ OMX
NASDAQ OMX turned to McCann Systems to upgrade the video wall and replace the existing analog equipment with a 100% digital system. Originally selected as consultants to study and prepare the performance RFP, McCann was ultimately chosen to execute the integration as well.

Working closely with Clickspring Designs, McCann Systems was instrumental in creating a versatile studio set for three of CNN’s top shows, American Morning, Paula Zahn Now and Anderson Cooper 360˚.

From the onset, this project had a tight schedule compelling us to condense what would normally take twelve weeks into six… without sacrificing quality control or technology. To succeed, our planning and programming departments worked tirelessly to create and manage a tightly administered integration schedule.

Creating the AV systems for the screening room of the largest film studio east of Hollywood, CA, was awarded to McCann Systems due to its extensive experience with customized design/build.

For CNN’s International’s broadcast sets in Atlanta and London, McCann used the technology and equipment formula implemented and proved successful at the CNN Communications Center in New York.

CNN Weather Channel designers had very exacting parameters in mind for the 6’ tall by 8’ wide main AV screen at their new studio set. As the design/integration company for the project, McCann’s specialists knew just where to look for the solution.

Pioneers in commercial-free satellite radio, Sirius called on McCann to design and integrate signage in the company’s two-story lobby at their Rockefeller Center headquarters.

A cramped, odd shaped installation area made the AV design and integration of CNN’s Headline News studio set a real challenge.
