Multimedia AV brings the legacy of the 60’s to life
Built on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is home to a 10,000 sq. ft. museum. The museum serves as an educational and informational facility examining the social and cultural legacy of the 60’s as well as the evolution of popular music.
McCann Systems created the audio visual environment for the museums immersive, multimedia exhibits, interactive displays and the accompanying AV control systems.

The nation’s first and only “all” sports museum chose McCann Systems to integrate the AV elements for their unique interactive exhibits. McCann’s designers, engineers and programmers worked on dozens of technology-driven displays, delivering unique experiences to visitors.

The Franklin Institute rotunda gets a hi definition digital overhaul
The Franklin Institute of Philadelphia, PA wanted to overhaul their rotunda with an immersive show. To fulfill this request McCann Systems designed four custom projection rigs that house the Christie HD8k projectors. These units project content onto four acoustically treated panels surrounding the statue of Ben Franklin.

Written in Bone Exhibit
Located in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. the Written in Bone Exhibit examines the history of the early settlers in the Chesapeake Region. This exhibit provides an analysis of human skeletons giving us tremendous insight on the people and events in America’s history.

A 26′ x 7′ seamless, concave, projection screen with a 3900 x 768 pixel image of New York City is the main set element for News Channel 4′s six and eleven o’clock news. To achieve a panoramic effect, a single piece,.57 gain rear projection screen material was used.

Audio Visual Technology Heightens Museum’s Exhibit of Human Skeletons Having a long and successful track record of integrating audio visuals into museums settings, McCann Systems brings their AV expertise to The National Museum of Natural History, part of the Smithsonian Institution, the world’s preeminent museum and research complex, located in Washington DC.

McCann Systems was hired to design, consult and integrate the NHL’s corporate offices as well as their flagship retail store. Both located at 6th & 47th in the center of Manhattan steps away from Times Square.
Floor to ceiling hockey

The world’s largest brewer needed a broad AV solution for a number of venues in its 50 year old Newark plant.

McCann Systems was chosen to design and build a six-room conference center at Alliance Capital’s headquarters. Workflow called for four typical Smart Board conference rooms plus one large, divisible boardroom…each with audio and video-conferencing systems as well as presentation and display capability.

Following the integration of the country’s largest high resolution, edge-blended video wall in the lobby of IAC’s office tower, McCann tackled the challenges of the “galleon’s” ship-shaped upper floor conference rooms.Conference rooms in a “sailing ship”. Due to the extraordinary “ship-like” contours of this Frank Gehry designed, 10- story, glass enclosed office tower, each of the meeting rooms presented unique challenges.

Stryker Orthopedics a global leader in medical technology hired McCann Systems to design and integrate their learning center in Mahwah NJ. Upon entering the main lobby visiting doctors are met by an LCD video wall with content driven by Watchout. This creative way of displaying content enables doctors to view the upcoming agenda. Along with the video the background audio system is powered with JBL ceiling speakers.

Wyndham Worldwide one of the world’s premier hospitality companies,headquartered in Parsippany NJ hired McCann Systems to design and ultimately build all of the audiovisual elements in the Wyndham Worldwide Corporate offices. Included in this full complement of audiovisual systems are the Lobby, Training Rooms, AV presentation Rooms, Conference Rooms, Cafeteria and the Crisis Action Room.
