Revolabs, manufacturer of wireless audio products, held a full-day training course on September 1st in Mid-Town Manhattan, lead by Revolabs Academy Course Instructor Eric Spata. As an innovative design-build audio visual integrator, McCann Systems is always in pursuit of the latest AV technologies and supports the ongoing education of its staff.
The Revolabs Academy course provided McCann Systems Sales Executives with an in-depth understanding of wireless microphone applications. The course demonstrated how to integrate all Revolabs wireless products while maintaining RF stability and avoiding interference. The course also covered installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair procedures for all Revolabs devices as well as a basic understanding of gain structure, acoustic echo cancelation, noise cancelation and other DSP and Video Codec related topics and how they relate to a Revolabs system.
The Revolabs Academy course is intended for industry professionals. Cory Crawford and Michael Russo each received 4 RU (Renewal Unit) credits toward their CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) status upon completion of the course. “This course was information packed. I can easily see how the Revolabs line of wireless microphones could enhance the AV integration for both broadcast and education environments – my core customers”, said Sales Executive Cory Crawford of McCann Systems. “The course laid the groundwork for the basics and built upon the technical execution” added Michael Russo of McCann Systems.
