The 52 story Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada offers luxury and style in an ultra chic contemporary setting. This new Mecca for fun features Cantor Gaming’s Sports and Race Book which was designed and integrated by McCann Systems.
The video wall in the Sports section is built on a curvature and consists of four, high-definition Christie 12k projectors which are blended to create a seamless multi window image across the screen. The overall image size is 6.5 feet by 34 feet. Staff members can select one of eight different screen layout configurations via a Crestron control system that gives them the capability to display up to 18 individual sporting events at the same time. The Sports wall is flanked by 6mm LED which is used for odds but is also capable of displaying full motion video.
The Race Screen consists of eighteen 46” ultra thin bezel displays in a 3×6 configuration. This arrangement allows up to 18 races to be displayed at one time. Like the sports side of the book, staff can choose pre-made layouts for the video wall allowing them to route any race to any of the windows of the video wall.
The Book itself was designed with a more intimate setting for viewing sporting events. The Race Carrels are equipped with an LCD touch screen that allows clients to view any broadcast event and have an interactive means of betting.
The front desk which is located just outside the book features six 47” ultra thin bezel LCD’s in a 2 x 3 wall which allows the client to put either full motion video or odds to draw clients into the book.
