The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino located in Las Vegas Nevada is known for its innovative nightlife and energetic vibe.  It now has a newly designed Sports & Race Book.
The Sports and Race Book, run by Cantor Gaming and designed and integrated by McCann Systems, has six Christie 18k/20k HD projectors that are projected and blended onto a screen with an overall image size of 10 feet by 83 feet.  The video wall is canted forward at a 10 degree angle to give the viewer a more immersive experience.  Image sizes on the video wall range from 110” to 220” diagonal.

The 6mm LED is mounted in a convex configuration which flows with the architecture of the space and has the ability to display odds or full motion video.  The main video wall displays a combination of Race and Sporting events simultaneously.  These configurations have multiple layout capabilities that are controlled with a Crestron Control System allowing staff to choose pre-made layouts for the video wall.
The Sports and Race Book has an elevated VIP lounge, located in the rear of the space, with comfortable seating and higher viewing angles.
The Race Carrels are equipped with an LCD touch screen that allows players to view any broadcast event and have an interactive means of betting.

Multiple high compression ceiling speakers are strategically mounted throughout the space with subwoofers for even distribution of audio sources.
An adjacent bar has several large flat panel displays for viewing of any of the sources that are available in the book.

    The new full motion video LED sign is a 23 foot convex curve 4mm Tekumi LED Marquee at the Sands Showroom. McCann Systems replaced the static back lit light box sign with a full color, high resolution, LED display. The theater can now easily change and manage the advertisements and marquees using the custom control and content playback system.
