A winning formula
For CNN’s International’s broadcast sets in Atlanta and London, McCann used the technology and equipment formula implemented and proved successful at the CNN Communications Center in New York.
Assessing parameters
To begin, we established the parameters for image size, equipment space, lighting demands and processing needs at CNN International’s locations in Atlanta and London. We then adapted and used the technology and equipment formula we implemented for CNN, NY. While sizes and specifications were different, we employed the same technology brands… Christie projectors, LSD mirror sleds, Stewart Filmscreens and Vista processors.
International capabilities
As a design integration company with true global reach, McCann was able to simultaneously handle the design and integration of CNN sets in New York, Atlanta and London. We choreographed a synchronized schedule that our logistics team programmed and tracked. This assured equipment delivery, installation and testing was done in concert with the architectural construction schedule already underway at these studios.
