
Stepping Stones Museum for Children has recently been expanded. The museum offers enthralling exhibits and experiences for children. There are five main galleries with over 100 children’s activities. McCann Systems was originally chosen as the audiovisual design consultant because of our superior museum portfolio.

The Henry C. Lee Institute for Forensic Science at the University of New Haven incorporates the latest technology into their new facility which provides space for the interactive public learning center and virtual crime scene labs. Upon entering the space you are immersed in the multimedia exhibits, interactive displays and the accompanying AV control systems throughout the Forensics and Crime Scene Learning Center, laboratories and classrooms.

The Ukrainian Institute of America located at Two East 79th Street is the address of one of the most spectacular mansions in New York City. Ukrainian art graces the walls of this breathtakingly ornate facility. In addition, many types of events and programs are hosted here. The concept behind this design and integration was to have technology in the building that could not be seen when not in use, while also having the capability of portability since it is used for various events.

Multimedia AV brings the legacy of the 60’s to life
Built on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is home to a 10,000 sq. ft. museum. The museum serves as an educational and informational facility examining the social and cultural legacy of the 60’s as well as the evolution of popular music.
McCann Systems created the audio visual environment for the museums immersive, multimedia exhibits, interactive displays and the accompanying AV control systems.

The nation’s first and only “all” sports museum chose McCann Systems to integrate the AV elements for their unique interactive exhibits. McCann’s designers, engineers and programmers worked on dozens of technology-driven displays, delivering unique experiences to visitors.

The Franklin Institute rotunda gets a hi definition digital overhaul
The Franklin Institute of Philadelphia, PA wanted to overhaul their rotunda with an immersive show. To fulfill this request McCann Systems designed four custom projection rigs that house the Christie HD8k projectors. These units project content onto four acoustically treated panels surrounding the statue of Ben Franklin.

Written in Bone Exhibit
Located in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. the Written in Bone Exhibit examines the history of the early settlers in the Chesapeake Region. This exhibit provides an analysis of human skeletons giving us tremendous insight on the people and events in America’s history.
